I worked for months, working 12- hours sanding floors, and tear down wallpaper one child strapped on my back, and others playing in the playpen. Ha! I was able to outgrow the area because I had numerous pieces I was able to use. My house was transformed into a space in which I held open houses where up to 1,000 people could view items from my first floor before purchasing the items. My venture Growing Days began here. In addition to my thriving business, I also grew our family. Being a new mom I was able to strike the right equilibrium to start my own company and become a great mother. Growing Days seemed like the best combination. My precious Nora arrived in the year 2013, which was our fourth child. My business was going well but I wanted a rest. I decided to take a break from making vintage furniture, and also slowed my pace and stayed at home to raise the children. It was what I wanted. After some time. They asked for assistance with interior decorating as well as renovations. These people had mostly been to my home during open houses for furniture. It wasn't long before I managed a large-scale house renovation business. I began by taking clients on one with a speed I felt confident in. If you'd predicted that this venture of mine would turn into an idea for a TV show on DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. It's funny to think back to it.
